Aerial footage of downtown Funchal which is the most devastated area besides Monte. I will be getting some footage of the monte area which is just as horrendous as what is seen Downtown.

At this moment (21/02/2010 - 23:25) the weather is calm... some wind, but at least it stopped raining.

Latest official numbers leave the number of deaths at 42. 70 injured and 39 families left homeless. Between the deaths, one is of a Fireman while he tried saving another life.

My heart goes out to all the people directly involved in this horrible tragedy.
